Valentines

I had such an amazing Valentines day! I woke up this morning and made Alan and I some festive pancakes.

I even made some for the dogs with a alteration of a few ingredients. We all inhaled them they were so yummy. After breakfast I had to make the conversation heart cheesecakes so that they could set while I was at school. I hurried and did that and managed to get ready for the day and get to school on time.

School was great. We had a fun drum lesson in dance, my second class was a little dull and my nutrition class we took a test which took me 15 minutes and I got to come home early. I had extravagant plans to decorate but they werent really working out so this is as far as I got:

Alan got home right as I got done and made me an amazing meal. Of course he made me my favorite steak and potatoes and even classed it up with some sparkling cider.

After dinner we had our conversation heart cheesecakes.

I love this man soooooo much and am so glad that we have a day devoted to express it in a fun and creative way. I had to go to math after dinner and when I got home Nicole and Casey came over. We were going to go to the hot springs but the guys talked us out of it claiming it was dangerous and such. Instead we all opted to hot tub and luckily our neighbor Andy was kind enough to allow us to bum his tub.

Now I get to go and canoodle with the man of my dreams and for that I am the luckiest girl in the world.

So here's to today...to festive flapjacks, to a delicious dinner, to my amazing husband and to a holiday set aside to love on my husband. Thankful for today.

Shopping in SLC

Alan had bought me a car detail groupon for Christmas that was due to expire next week so this morning he drove the Sonata up to get detailed. We were both up at 7:30 and for anyone that knows us that is waaaaay too bloody early for us. Often times I am up almost that late watching my shows and just falling asleep at that time so it wasn't very fun. I went and picked up my sister and ran some errands and after dropping Britt off I headed to SLC to pick up Alan.

We were told it would take at least half the day to detail with an extra hour for the pet hair from the summer and by this time it was 11 and we were starving. We headed over to City Creek to go to Blue Lemon for lunch. We got distracted by H&M and since I was not planning on a day walking around the mall I was wearing the WRONG shoes. So I had to buy some socks because they were already starting to hurt and I didn't want blisters all over my toes for the cruise.

After our little shopping spree we went and dined and the food was sooooo good. After we already ordered we realized they have bolognese so we are excited to get back there and try that next time. Lunch must have gotten Alan in good spirits because afterwards he decided to finally upgrade our phones. We both had cracked screens and have an upgrade since August so we headed over to AT&T. All I have to say is I LOVE SIRI! I don't know what I did without it and it probably will save my life someday on the freeway.

We shopped around for a bit more and then finally headed over to see if the car was done. When we got back they needed another 45 because they were overbooked by 7 cars that day so we decided to get some ice cream but only made it to the Rack. Alan got some nice dress shirts and I got a few awesome deals and then we FINALLY got to pick up the car. It looks amazing! I will have to take a picture of it tomorrow because the garage just doesnt do it justice.

When we got home I had to do some studying for a test tomorrow and some homework. I am going to be at school all day tomorrow so I am going to make Alan breakfast tomorrow and hopefully be able to woo him a little before I abandon him for the day. Wish me luck.

So here's to today...to a feels like new car, to spur of the moment shopping sprees, to upgrading our phones, to hopefully passing my test tomorrow, and to movie time (right now) with my hubs. Thankful for today.

MY HUSBANDS HOME!

I am going to make tonight's post shorter than normal since as usual I dont have anything interesting to say and more importantly my beloved husband is finally home and I havent seen him in over a week.

I had no desire to go to school (I don't think I ever do so I should probably stop saying that) but I am so happy to have my dance video presentation done and over with. I also really enjoyed my nutrition class today and learned a lot. I only stayed for the first 1/2 hour of math so I am a little stressed about that but I am sure I will figure it out. I rushed off to the airport to pick up my honey and its so nice to have him home.

Only cool thing to really report is that I tried those nail sticker things...they look pretty crappy since its my first time but they were super easy and fun. Getting all geared up for V-day.

Those are little hearts in case you couldn't tell from the terrible picture. A special thanks to Kayli for starting a cleanse and giving me lots of yummy food! I am also super excited that tomorrow I am getting my car detailed thanks to an amazing groupon Alan got me for Christmas.

So here's to today...to my hubby making a safe return home, to his new job and his first sale, to surviving my video lesson, to sticker nails, and to groupon. Thankful for today.

I can't control my eyebrows

Marissa slept over last night and we both stayed up way too late watching Vampire Diaries. We need help. I woke up to a phone call from the flower delivery guy saying they were lost. My cute husband sent me flowers.

So I got up at 9:30 and got right back to watching my show on just a few hours of sleep. That pretty much consumed the majority of my day outside of a half hour cat nap and a lunch break. After dinner Nicole came over with her darling little girl. I will have to post a video of her from tonight later this week. She is so dang cute. We watched a couple episodes of VD and then moved on to the drama filled episode of The Bachelor. Finally Sean got rid of Tierra. We all rejoiced and then the girls left (except Marissa she decided to stay one last night before Alan gets back) and I cleaned up the house so its not disgusting when Alan gets back tomorrow. I just revised my lesson plan for my elementary dance class and have a video presentation tomorrow that I need to rehearse. I do not want to go to school tomorrow but at least it will make the day go by quickly so it feels like I am seeing my hubby sooner.

So here's to today...to my sweet husband surprising me with flowers, to VD addictions, to Sean finally seeing through Tierra and sending her home, to the cutest Serena Gomez cover I have ever seen from a darling 2 year old, to girls night, to hopefully executing my lesson plan without embarrassing myself and to my last night sleeping alone. Thankful for today.

Love Triangles

I am totally obsessed with my primary kids. They are the cutest sweetest bunch of 4 and 5 year olds I have ever met. I am in love. I hope I never get released!! Today was fun. Alan is out of town and my friend didn't end up coming over so I braved it alone but they were good as always.

When we got out of church I fixed Bryson and I up some lunch and we got to play a bunch of games and watch a movie (or 4) before his dad came to pick him up. What a blessing that little boy has been in my life.

Speaking of obsessions...I cannot stop watching Vampire Diaries and I am a couple episodes away from the second season. I have a problem. I see my straight A's this semester quickly fading and my sleep being non-existent. I can't help myself though I'm sucked in.

I cannot wait for Alan to come home. I have missed my best friend and need him here with me.

So here's to today...to an amazing calling, to surviving Sunday on my own, to Bryson's company, to Elena and Damon hooking up soon hopefully and to my husband getting his butt home safely to me this week. Thankful for today.

Saturday series

Well it's official...Inam addicted to Vampire Diaries. I stayed up way too late last night watching it with my cousins. Even after I would fall asleep I would random wake up to an episode and watch 15-20 minutes of it and pass back out. It's funny cause we would all wake up and talk about it and then Nicole and I would fall back asleep and Marissa would keep watching.

Unfortunately my phone died and  I missed my sweet friend Ashley's baby shower this morning. I woke up shortly before the girls did and starting chipping away at my psychology homework. I watched a documentary on the psychology of a growing boy and it honestly freaked me out a bit. I hope that if I have boys I am a good mom. I hope that I am also a good influence on my nephew.

After homework and visiting with Nikki and Riss for a bit they left and I got right back to Vampire Diaries till 8 tonight when I went and picked up Bryson. We hung out waiting for Kayli for a bit and then made some dinner. I love that kid so much he is the cutest little boy ever. The things he says are so hilarious I don't know where he picks some stuff up. After dinner we cleaned up a little and got ready for bed and now we are almost finished with our movie. Time to get back to my snuggle bug. I am really missing Alan though.

So here's to today...to staying up too late, to Krispy Kremes (which Havoc ate 5 of and didn't get sick...yet), to slumber parties, to a Saturday watching a new TV series, to Bryson protecting me and to his sweet snuggles. Thankful for today.

Vampire Diaries

I definitely did not get enough sleep last night. When my alarm went off it scared me. After the interview I went over to my moms to pick up Bryson. He was still sleeping so I laid down next to him and I completely passed out.

Once I got my lazy butt up we went to grab some lunch and take the Camry into the shop. I am so grateful for all of the help Bronson gives us. We were able to get the tire repaired. Turns out there was a huge nail in it. After an oil change, 2 new tires, a patch and alignment we were on our way. We got home and Alice in Wonderland was on the TV so we watched that while I cleaned up.

After Bryson left I tried to clean the rest of my house but kept getting distracted. I ran to Walmart to get a few things and forgot a lot of them because I got distracted. Now I am watching Vampire Diaries with Nicole and Marissa and blogging because I am distracted. Hopefully I can stay up throughout these episodes.

So here's to today...to cat naps, to No more car issues, to Disney classics, to getting organized, and to Vampire Diaries marathons. Thankful for today.
